We mourn the loss of Nobel Laureate Paul Crutzen, our friend and a member of our Founders Assembly. Prof. Crutzen received the 1995 Nobel Prize in Chemistry with Mario Molina and F. Sherwood Rowland for their work in atmospheric chemistry, particularly on the formation and decomposition of the ozone. Prof. Crutzen was a pioneering climate change researcher and also popularised the phrase anthropoc
