Preview Game Night for Sci-Me
Lindau Alumnus Michal Jex and Lindau Alumna Lena Schorr have turned the 2021 Sciathon project Game of Science into an online tabletop game Sci-Me – and they are hosting a preview game night on 29 April 2022 at 19.00 hrs CEST.

Here is more on the invitation form Michal:
Hello everyone, especially board game enthusiasts!
We would like to invite you to the first open playtest of our new digitized board game Sci-me! It will take place on the 29th of April at 7 pm CEST via Zoom.
What is Sci-Me?
We started the project Sci-Me during the Online Lindau Sciathon 2021 in the Open Science category. The topic of the game is the everyday life of scientists running their own lab including frustration, fun, success, suffering... In fact, our goal is to bring the general public closer to the life of scientists behind publications, to show that scientists are not only engaged in carefree research in their labs, but what else is going on behind the scenes. We currently develop the game further and are now after 6 months at a stage where we really need the feedback from board game enthusiasts, scientists (do we deliver the message?) and everybody who likes to play.
If you want to test the brand-new game (which is not yet available), meet other like-minded people and have a fun night, register here.
You can check out the game here. You need a free account to start the game.

The link for the Preview game night will be sent separately after registration. For further questions, don’t hesitate to contact Michal via email.
