Exciting Opportunity for Early-Career Resarchers: The UNESCO-Al Fozan International Prize for the Promotion of Young Scientists in STEM is open for nominations! Notably, Heiner Linke, Vice-President of the Council for the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings, is chairing the selection jury this year.
Who can be nominated?
- Early-career scientists under 40
- with significant contributions in STEM research, education, or international cooperation
- and recognized impact at a national, regional, or global level
What does the prize offer?
- $50,000 per laureate (five winners)
- UNESCO Medal and Diploma
- Global recognition for advancing STEM fields
Who can nominate?
- Governments, NGOs, and international scientific organizations
- UNESCO Chairs and Category 2 Centres
- Universities and research institutions
- Self-nominations are not accepted.
